Data Retention

This page explains how long Life Admin Assistant retains different types of data and what happens when records are deleted.

Account records

Account information such as your name, email, timezone, language preferences and authentication details is retained while your account is active. When you request account deletion, account records are removed or anonymised according to our deletion process.

Structured life admin records

Events, tasks, reminders, bills, loans, payment records, important dates, notes and household settings remain until you delete them or close your account, unless retention is required for legitimate operational, security or legal reasons.

Raw messages

Raw message payloads and delivery metadata are retained for as long as needed to provide messaging-based functionality, delivery reliability and audit trails. Depending on your plan and settings, raw message content may be pruned or anonymised after a configured period while structured records derived from messages may remain.

Document uploads

Uploaded documents are stored in private file storage while your account is active and until you delete them. Deleted documents are removed from active storage according to our deletion process.

OCR text

Text extracted from documents may be stored alongside document records to support search, review and structured record creation. OCR text is deleted when the related document is deleted or when no longer needed for service operation.

Audit logs

Security, delivery, support access and operational audit logs are retained for a limited period to investigate issues, monitor reliability and meet security obligations. Logs are designed to minimise unnecessary personal content.

Deleted accounts

When an account is deleted, personal data is removed or anonymised according to our deletion workflow. Some operational records may persist in anonymised or aggregated form.

Backups

Encrypted backups may temporarily retain copies of data for disaster recovery. Backup copies are rotated and expire according to our backup retention schedule.

Support access logs

When authorised support access is used, the session is logged including who accessed support tools, when access occurred and what actions were taken. Support access logs are retained for security and accountability purposes.
